Valuation and appraisal

Firstly, our representatives evaluate your object and provide you with an estimate and assessment of salability at our auctions.

You may choose to bring the object to our gallery for valuation, or request valuation at your home. We also provide valuations online. In case of online valuations, please be sure to provide us with an in depth description of the provenance and condition of the object. Accurate descriptions allow us to provide you with the most reliable appraisal.

Before consigning our representatives will walk you through the auction process and the terms of consignment to make you feel comfortable of selling at Eerik’s.

After signing a formal consignment agreement, your item will be placed on exhibit at our gallery. We are constantly searching for buyers through publications, private messages, email campaigns and in the social media. We offer our buyers professional catalogs, high-quality images, a state-of-the-art bidding platform and a high level of customer service.

Our sales commission is 20 % (incl. VAT) per item of the hammer price. There are no additional charges. We charge the commission only if the item is sold at our auction. We also offer rewards for our frequent buyers.

Please note that if you choose to use a reserve price and the object is not sold due to the reserve, a handling fee will be charged if you choose to collect the object after the auction. The handling fee is 1 % of the price estimate of the object and a minimum of 20 € and a maximum of 100 €.

We will provide you accounting of the sold items and payment within 30 days of the auction. In case your item is not sold, we will search for buyers until the item is relisted.
